ULTISPEED's FastLayer Core was meticulously developed over the past decade using new materials. This generation minimizes the differences in hardness typically found in cores of other distance ball offerings, but still uses our signature soft-to-firm approach. With a more subtle soft-to-firm transition, FastLayer enhances speed off the clubface to give ULTISPEED extreme distance on every swing.
338 SPEED DIMPLE PATTERN
The 338 Speed Dimples on Q-STAR ULTISPEED improve overall aerodynamics for better flight performance. A lower drag coefficient helps the ball cut through the air with less resistance for a more penetrating launch and straighter flight. A higher lift coefficient allows the ball to stay airborne longer for maximum distance.
SOFT, THIN COVER
Every ULTISPEED golf ball features a newly formulated cover that's thin and soft to provide more greenside spin and a softer feel on pitches, chips, and putts, while still maintaining the high-speed benefits of a distance ball.
